    The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.

  • Safe Call Now – 1-206-459-3020

    A 24/7 help line staffed by first responders for first responders and their family members. They can assist with treatment options for responders who are suffering from mental health, substance abuse and other personal issues.

  • Fire/EMS Helpline – 1-888-731-3473

    Also known as Share The Load. A program run by the National Volunteer Fire Council. They have a help line, text based help service, and have also collected a list of many good resources for people looking for help and support.

  • Crisis Text Line

    A service that allows people in crisis to speak with a trained crisis counselor by texting “Start” or “Help” to 741-741.

  • Copline (Law Enforcement Only) – 1-800-267-5463

    A confidential helpline for members of US law enforcement. Their website also has additional information on help and resources.

  • Frontline Helpline – 1-866-676-7500

    Run by Frontline Responder Services. Offer 24/7 coverage with first responder call-takers.

    Another national (USA) hotline for people suffering from mental health issues.

    A crisis line specifically for veterans of the US armed forces.

  • Emergency Responder Trauma Counselors

    Fort Collins, CO – Their practice provides comprehensive mental health services to first responders including therapy, CISM/CISD, and therapy dog support. All their clinicians have experience treating first responders. They also have a crisis response team that is able to provide support to agencies in Northern Colorado. They can assist in arranging pet care in the event a first responder needs inpatient treatment.

    West Coast Post-trauma Retreat

  • Rosecrance Florian Program

    The Rosecrance Florian Program is designed and run by current and retired first responders who also hold degrees as mental health providers. The program offers treatment for both mental health and addition problems in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

  • On Site Academy

    Westminister, MA – The On-Site Academy is a non-profit residential treatment and training center for critical incident stress management. We serve emergency service workers who are in distress. Our program is for all law enforcement, fire service, EMS, or other human service personnel who are themselves temporarily overwhelmed by the stress of their jobs, what they have seen, and what they have been through.

    The Minnesota Firefighter Initiative (or MnFIRE; Minnesotans Forging Solutions by Investing in Resources and Education) is designed to be the connection for firefighters, family, friends, employers, and elected officials that helps to build awareness and give the right resources to the people that want and or need them. Currently, MnFIRE is focused on Cardiac Issues, Emotional Wellness, and in the Minnesota fire service. MnFIRE is a collaboration of the Minnesota Professional Firefighters, the Minnesota State Fire Department Association, and the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association.
